The Committee on Campus Environment is a subcommittee under AAC. Its terms of reference are as follows:

1. To promote general awareness among students and staff on environmental protection and campus ecology.

2. To recommend for consideration by AAC strategies and policies relating to environmental protection, energy conservation, construction sites management, air quality, water quality, campus terrain, hygiene, waste reduction, recycling and relating issues.

3. To receive and investigate complaints on environmental matters and to recommend actions where appropriate.

4. To prepare an annual sustainability report.

5. To undertake any other duties/ functions on environmental matters as may from time to time be assigned by the Vice-Chancellor.
