Annual Gender Role Workshop

15–17 June 2023   |   Online

The theme of this workshop is gender, technology, and violence. On the first two days (i.e., 15 and 16 June), we plan to organize a full-day workshop. On the third day of workshop (17 June), we will organize a full-day seminar and will invite academics from different universities, local NGOs, and the Equal Opportunities Commission to share their views on the topic.

Policy Forum on Building a Sustainable Healthcare System for Hong Kong

The Policy Forum is aligned with the theme “where great minds shine”, as it will shed light on the sustainability of Hong Kong’s public healthcare system, which is one of the most vital topics in public policy. Scholars, representatives from the medical industry, and professional doctors will be invited to evaluate the strengths and challenges of Hong Kong’s public healthcare system, examine caring services, and make policy recommendations.

The two-day Policy Forum consists of two keynote speeches and four panel sessions. In four panel sessions, panelists will discuss the Sustainability of Healthcare Systems, the Public Health Crisis, Capacity Building in Primary Healthcare, and Financing Sustainable Healthcare Systems. This Policy Forum will be a platform for international and local public health experts to present their insights.
