Introduction

The Greater Bay Area (GBA) development brings valuable opportunities to Hong Kong’s innovation and technology development. Universities in Hong Kong can leverage on their advantages in research excellence and international academic status to contribute to this international innovation and technology hub. The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) is among the first universities to build its connectivity with the Mainland and the Greater Bay Area.

In this webinar, the speakers will share their experiences and views on cross-border research and the development of innovations in the GBA, including:

What are the roles of Hong Kong’s universities, researchers, and innovation and technology industry under this new economic and social landscape?
How can cooperation among cities in the GBA be deepened and how can the university’s impact on the region be promoted?
