The Cancer Centre was the beneficiary of the CUHK 40th Anniversary Celebration Round-the-CU Walkathon: Road to Cancer Cure on 23rd February 2003. The participation of cancer survivors and members of the patient support groups; as well as over 100 staff from the Cancer Centre raised the awareness of the clinical, translational and psychosocial service and research in the Cancer Centre,
with the money donated contributing to the development of new treatments, new tests and new
facilities.
