Vice-Chancellor takes part in WUN Brexit Forum
The Worldwide Universities Network (WUN), Maastricht University, and the University of York co-organised the ‘WUN Presidents Forum: Brexit and the International Higher Education Landscape – Strategic Solutions to Sustain Knowledge Partnerships’ in Belgium on 9 February 2017. Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, joining members of the WUN Partnership Board and invited guests from government agencies and international education associations, reviewed the current status and future projections of Brexit and explored ways to sustain research, education, and mobility partnerships at UK-EU and international levels. He also chaired a session on ‘Academic and Student Mobility Models after Brexit’ and a discussion on the consequences of Brexit for WUN in terms of research collaborations and as a global university network.
