CUHK delegation visited top universities in South Korea

In an effort to strengthen CUHK’s global presence and to expand its international collaborations, Prof. Joseph Sung, Vice-Chancellor of CUHK, led an 8-member delegation to Seoul, South Korea from 18 to 20 April 2016 and visited Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, Korea University, and Hanyang University. A number of areas were identified for teaching and research collaborations, including business, mechanical engineering, medical devices, robotics, and social science.

Accompanying Prof. Sung on the trip included Prof. Wong Suk-ying, Associate Vice-President; Prof. Francis Chan, Dean of Medicine; Prof. Kalok Chan, Dean of Business Administration; Prof. C.P. Wong, Dean of Engineering; Prof. John Lui, Associate Dean of Engineering (Research); Ms. Shally Fan, Director of Academic Links; and Mr. Ian Huen, Trustee of Dr. Stanley Ho Medical Development Foundation.
