Being a student under the Faculty of Science, there aren't a lot of courses outside my major that I can choose from. Also, the school I'm going to - University of Pennsylvania - is well know for its Wharton Business School. As a result, I took a lot of business classes. I even had the chance to work with students from America and Singapore throughout the whole semester to write a business plan! We learnt how to establish a successful business and hopefully I can apply the skill in future.

Another essential element for an exchange trip is to experience. I took part in the Chinese Music Society and the Church Choir in Philadelphia Cathedral. I made great friends and had a very fruitful experience out there.

I have been to nearly all the major cities in USA and this is the most interesting part of my exchange. You couldn't believe that I have been to New York EIGHT times! I was there for the Status of Liberty, Empire State Building, Central Park, Metropolitan Museum, musical, etc. Most interesting of all was the New Year Countdown in Time Square and Big Sale in Macy's Department Store.
