| Biography |
| Dr Kwok completed his undergraduate study in the Faculty of Medicine, the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) and obtained his Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery degrees (First Honours). Dr Kwok is a Fellow of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, the Hong Kong College of Pathologists, the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (Pathology), a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom and a Specialist in Chemical Pathology registered under the Medical Council of Hong Kong.
Being the Consultant chemical pathologist in Prince of Wales Hospital, Dr Kwok serves as the Unit Coordinator of the Laboratory Automation System, Urgent Laboratory & Reception, Point of Care Testing as well as Molecular Diagnostics & Inherited Metabolic Diseases Units. He also serves as Chairperson of Hospital Authority (HA) Point-of-care Testing Committee, a Member of the HA Coordinating Committee (Pathology) and an Assessor for the Hong Kong Accreditation Service. Besides, Dr Kwok was also the former President of the Hong Kong Society of Clinical Chemistry.
As an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor (CUHK), Dr Kwok has ample experience in teaching medical and post-graduate students on various topics of Chemical Pathology and Genetics. Dr Kwok’s main academic interests include endocrinology, renal medicine, inborn errors of metabolism, genetics & genomics.
