My Indonesian and Chinese friends who
also attended had a positive response
to the event. We enjoyed the chance
to be able to meet people we did not
normally meet such as professors
and postgraduate students. One of
my friends also told me that she was
surprised by the cultural diversity of
CUHK.
Mei Cheng (Psychology/ Year 2)
It was a fun night with a rich blend of
cultures, in which I was able to meet new
friends from all over the world and see
the folk costumes from different countries
in one go! Although I might not be able
to understand the cultures of these
countries deeply within just a few hours,
it was still nice to interact with different
people at the event.
