CUHK Host Family Programme
Since its debut in 2013, the CUHK Host Family Programme has helped create a home away from home for
non-local students and accelerated cultural exchange by connecting them with CUHK staff. This year, senior
local students are also invited to be hosts so as to widen the networks of both local and non-local students.
Many hosts and their students met at the opening ceremony in early October and kindled their relationship.

training activities, including culturally-oriented workshops and tours, before organizing their
own cultural projects to facilitate intercultural interaction on campus or even in the local
community from November 2016 to next March.
