
Ms. Agnes Tsang
Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Relations)
Biography
Ms. Agnes Tsang is currently the Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Relations) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).
Ms. Tsang received a Bachelor's degree in Social Science, majoring in Government and Public Administration and minoring in Law from CUHK, and a Master's degree in Education from the University of Hong Kong.
As Associate Vice-President (Communications and Public Relations) at CUHK, Ms. Tsang oversees the Office of Communications and Public Relations to provide leadership for the University's long-term communication strategy, strategic events management, community relations and brand-building functions. She also supports the senior management in cultivating, building and nurturing relationships with internal and external stakeholders and partners to advance, enhance and protect the reputation, status and profound societal impact of CUHK.
Ms. Tsang possesses extensive cross-sector experience in communications and public relations. She was the Head of External Affairs at Rosewood Hotel Group and Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group, the Hong Kong Director of an international communications advisory firm contracted for a Hong Kong SAR Government branding project, the Government Relations and Public Affairs Director of an international business chamber, a Senior Researcher at the Central Policy Unit of the Hong Kong SAR Government, and other roles at international risk consultancies, the Legislative Council, Hong Kong Standard, and Reuters.
Apart from the media, government and companies, Ms. Tsang also served in NGOs including WWF Hong Kong and Mother's Choice in strategic communications and policy advocacy.
Ms. Tsang is honoured to return to CUHK to contribute to enhancing CUHK’s very well-established brand and to support her alma mater’s communication endeavours locally, nationally and internationally.
