InnoHK Microbiota I-Center (MagIC) is a leading microbiome research center dedicated to advancing microbiome science for personalized healthcare. Our goal is to unravel the connections between the human gut microbiome and health to develop microbiome therapeutics.

Our research focuses on the impact of gut microbiome on various health conditions, including chronic diseases, mental health, and metabolic disorders. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies and big data analytics, we aim to enhance our understanding of the microbiome's role in health and disease.

MagIC serves as a hub for interdisciplinary collaboration, bringing together microbiome researchers, industry partners, and healthcare professionals. Together, we translate scientific discoveries into practical applications, driving the development of microbiome-based products and services that can benefit patients and the broader community in Hong Kong and beyond.
